When we make branding images, we are communicating who you are and what you do professionally. I approach these photos with an editorial eye – showing you in your environment and sharing parts of your process. What’s unique about what you do, how you do it or the service you offer? How can we communicate that visually in a compelling way that connects with your audience?
Kristyn Wink is a hair cutting specialist here in Baltimore. Her process is very personalized – she listens to what you want, what your hair goals are, and really thinks about face shape and hair density and how everything works together.
It’s a totally customized experience, and I try to make my photo sessions the same way so it was extra fun to make these images with her.
The vibes are just right in Kristyn’s new studio…we’ve got plants, we’ve got beautiful natural light, great tunes on the speaker, a cozy candle, and a McQueen book on the table. 😀 For this branding session, we wanted to capture the feel of the space, get some great portraits, and show parts of that super important client consultation.
Thanks a bunch to Kristyn! If you’re interested in your own branding photography session, you can contact me here.
